About: Behind the Recap Desk
A small, independent team of writers who rewatch so you can return to a show without losing your place.
Why we exist
Long-form television asks for memory. Seasons arrive years apart, and a single forgotten scene can make a finale confusing. We write to restore context quickly: who wants what, what changed last time, and where the season is heading.
Our principles
Recap is not judgment
Events and opinions live in separately labelled paragraphs.
Spoilers are labelled by season
Nothing is revealed until you open a panel that names what it spoils.
Facts are checked
Episode numbers, air years and credits are checked against the episodes and official credits.
Independence
We are not affiliated with any network, studio or streaming service, and we accept no payment for coverage.
Corrections
If you spot a wrong detail or a spoiler that slipped outside its panel, tell us. We correct verified errors promptly and note the change.
